Professional Service Fee Information
At Voyasea, we value transparency. Our professional service fees cover the dedicated time, in-depth research, and expert planning our team pours into crafting your custom European itinerary. This is our specialty, and the fee ensures you receive the highest level of personalized service.
Here are key details about our fee structure:
Applies to Europe Independent Travel Plans
Our professional service fees are exclusively for bespoke European travel planning services provided directly by the Voyasea team. We do not charge these fees for other destinations or travel types, such as cruises.
Does Not Apply to Affiliates
These fees do not apply when you work with an Independent Travel Advisor affiliated with Voyasea. Our partners operate their own businesses and will outline their own service structure.
Separate from Supplier Costs
Our fees are for our planning and advisory services alone. They are separate from and in addition to any charges from hotels, airlines, or other travel suppliers.
Your initial consultation is always complimentary.
Independent Travel Planning+
Before we start planning your trip, you’ll need to give us your approval by agreeing to a Travel Service Agreement. The professional service fee will be charged when Voyasea starts confirming your travel arrangements*. This fee covers the independent travel planning services we provide and can’t be used to pay for travel expenses. Each travel plan you make with Voyasea will have its own professional service fee, and is not transferable to future trips.
Professional service fees are as follows:
Flat-rate of $500 for 1 to 2 members of the traveling party.
Additional members of the traveling party are charged a flat-rate of $150 per person.
Cancellations
Our commitment is to transparency. It is important to understand that all travel suppliers (airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, etc.) have their own unique cancellation policies.
In the event you need to cancel your trip for any reason, these suppliers will likely impose penalties, which may include the forfeiture of all deposits and payments. These charges are set directly by the supplier, are entirely independent of Voyasea, and are the sole financial responsibility of the client.
We will provide you with the specific cancellation and refund policies for each supplier in your detailed travel plan so you are fully aware of the terms of your booking.
Voyasea’s professional service fee cancellation terms:
In the event that you need to cancel your travel arrangements for any reason prior to payment and confirmation to a travel supplier(s), Voyasea will refund 75% of the professional service fee.
If you need to cancel your travel arrangements for any reason after having paid and received confirmation from one or more travel suppliers, Voyasea will refund 25% of the professional service fee.
We’re here to support you. In the event of a serious illness or death of anyone in your travel group, you’ll receive a full refund of the professional service fee, regardless of where we are in your travel planning.
| We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance from a trusted provider to safeguard your travel plans from unexpected events that might force you to cancel. Voyasea can assist you with this.
+An independent travel plan includes any combination of travel arrangements booked separately, such as hotels or vacation rentals, flights, transportation, and day tours (either guided or on your own).
*For our California clients: Enjoy a preliminary complimentary consultation! If you then decide to utilize Voyasea’s expertise for independent travel planning, a professional service fee (detailed in our fee schedule) will be applied. This fee will be invoiced upon confirmation and payment of your travel arrangements. Rest assured, you won’t be charged until your trip is fully booked. Please refer to the ‘Cancellations’ section for complete refund information.
