Your Travel Investment

At MDC Plus Travel, LLC (the parent company of Voyasea Travel), we believe in total transparency. Our Professional Service Fee covers the dedicated time, deep research, and meticulous planning required to craft your custom European itinerary. This fee ensures our expertise is focused entirely on your preferences—not on which supplier pays the highest commission.

Applies to European Travel Plans

Our planning fees apply specifically to our Bespoke European Travel services. These itineraries require deep customization and local expertise to get every detail right. For other travel types, such as cruise-only vacations, we are happy to offer our booking services with no planning fees.

Does not Apply to Affiliates

While Voyasea Travel is part of the MDC Plus Travel, LLC family, our amazing affiliate specialists operate independently. This means they set their own unique terms, conditions, and professional fees which may differ from Voyasea Travel. Be sure to chat with your specialist about their specific process!

Separate from Supplier Costs

Our fee is for our planning and advisory services alone. It is separate from, and in addition to, any charges from hotels, airlines, or other travel suppliers.

The fine Print, Simplified

Before we dive into the details, we’ll ask you to review and sign our Travel Services Agreement. Your fee is charged at the moment your specialist begins researching your custom arrangements. Because this fee covers the dedicated time and expertise poured into your project, it is non-refundable—even if your plans change or the trip is postponed.*

Each custom itinerary we create is a unique project. Therefore, fees are specific to each travel plan and are not transferable to future trips or other destinations. Additionally, these fees represent payment for our planning services and cannot be applied toward the cost of your airfare, lodging, or tours.

We love the convenience of credit cards! To help us keep our base planning fees as low as possible, a 3% convenience fee applies to all credit card transactions.

Want to avoid the convenience fee? It’s easy! We also accept fee-free payments via ACH, bank transfer, Venmo, or Zelle. Please note that we do not accept personal checks.

And just a reminder that the fee is separate from your actual travel costs such as flights, hotels, tours…you get the picture. Those will be charged directly by the supplier and you’ll see their names on your bank statements. Our fee will show up as MDC Plus Travel on your statement.

Cancellations

It’s very important to understand that all travel suppliers (airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, etc.) have their own unique cancellation policies.

In the event you need to cancel your trip for any reason, these suppliers will likely impose penalties, which may include the forfeiture of all deposits and payments. These charges are set directly by the providers, remain entirely independent of MDC Plus Travel, LLC, and are beyond our control. As such, any fees or lost payments are the sole financial responsibility of the client.

Your travel specialist will provide you with the specific cancellation and refund policies for each supplier in your detailed travel plan so you are fully aware of the terms of your booking.

The specialists at Voyasea Travel pour significant time and heart into planning your dream trip. Because our work begins the moment we start researching and designing your custom itinerary, we are unable to offer refunds on our professional service fee.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance from a trusted provider to safeguard your investment from unexpected events that might force you to cancel. Between non-refundable international flights and boutique European hotel deposits, insurance is the best way to travel with peace of mind. Although we’re not insurance agents, we are happy to assist you in finding a plan that fits your needs.

*For our California guests: We are pleased to offer a preliminary complimentary consultation. Should you choose to move forward with our bespoke planning, the professional service fee (detailed in our fee schedule above) will be invoiced upon the confirmation of your travel arrangements. In compliance with California regulations, you won’t be charged our fee until your trip is fully booked. Please see our ‘Cancellations’ section for full details.
